Jackson Kayak Cuda 12 walk-through video

September 11th, 2012 · 1 Comment

It goes without saying that all of us on the Jackson Kayak fishing team have been excited about the Jackson Cuda 12 since we learned about it just before ICAST. While we all loved the Coosa and the original Cuda 14, there was a need for something that tracked as great as the Cuda yet was as nimble as the Coosa for smaller waters.

The Cuda 12 is, in my opinion, one of the best all-around kayaks on the market now (yes, they’re officially on the market so call your local dealer and order one!). For guys that aren’t putting in long days and huge miles on their kayak, like mornings at Pacific City, this kayak will be perfect. Say you just want to drop some crab pots in Nehalem, this will be an awesome kayak. Or perhaps you’re hoping that you can leave work early so you can do some quick salmon fishing on the Willamette, the Cuda 12 will easily be a great go-to kayak.

In the video overview, you get to see some of the exciting changes that will be found on all Jackson Kayaks this year: RAM Mount and GoPro Ready, new colors like the Blaze Orange, and more. Then there are the couple things that set the C12 apart from the C14.

I know I’m eager to add the Cuda 12 to my fleet! It’ll be great for the kids to paddle and I know Jewel will prefer the way that it tracks when she paddles with me.
